My wife Traci and I spent Christmas in Texas with her family so she could be with her brother Will. He is a major in the Army and has been called to help out with the war in Iraq. We know he will return safely, but ask you to keep him in your prayers for the next twelve months and thank you for keeping him in your thoughts along with all the men and women who serve this great country of ours.
I am adding this page to our website in order to recognize those men and women who are serving overseas as a way to keep all our loved ones in our thoughts and prayers. I understand both sides of the issue, but what I don't understand is someone who bad mouths everything about the war out of one side of their mouth and then says, "But I support the troops" out of the other side. If I was getting ready for a show and someone said, "I believe in you and support you. Have a great show," then shortly thereafter they follow it up with how they didn't think anyone would be coming to the show or how I didn't look good, what I was wearing was all wrong, how they really didn't care for my voice, and didn't like the way I did my show - I would not consider that support and neither do our troops. You cannot be too supportive when you're ripping apart everything someone is trying to do.
If you would like to send us any names of family or friends who are fighting overseas to insure not only our safety and freedom, but also for those who have never had any rights, freedom, or felt safe during their lives, please email us their name, rank, and where they are serving and we'll be honored to add them to this section of the website.
Please pray for all our troops!
Love and Hope,
